The Winder Customer Center is located at 45 East Athens Street, Winder, GA 30680. There is a 3% fee when paying with a credit/debit card. Accepted methods of payment are cash, check, money order and credit/debit cards (Visa and MasterCard only).

NOTE: All transactions made online are limited to a maximum of $600.00 per transaction. No more than three (3) payments in five (5) days, and no more than five (5) payments in thirty (30) days are accepted per account or credit/debit card.

PLEASE NOTE* As of January 2017, the disconnection policy has changed. Accounts will now be subject to disconnection on the 10th day after the due date for any unpaid balances. Once accounts are considered delinquent and scheduled for disconnection, accounts will be assessed a $50.00 delinquent fee, and the entire balance must be paid to be reconnected.

The City of Winder Customer Service Department now has the ability to send a phone call a few days prior to disconnection. Please be sure to provide the Customer Service Department with your most up-to-date phone number for this feature.


Federal Regulation 192.16 requires that we notify you to exercise diligence regarding underground or buried gas piping.  Buried pipe downstream (house side) of the gas meter belongs to you, the gas consumer, and the gas consumer is responsible for maintenance and operation of this portion of the fuel line system.

  • Periodically check for leaks, check for corrosion if piping is metal and repair when needed.  Always CALL BEFORE YOU DIG - 811 so underground utilities can be marked.
