Our mission is to recruit, train, support, and retain the most capable and productive staff for the City of Winder, while ensuring fair employment and equal opportunity under State and Federal laws. We serve our community by creating and supporting a dedicated and highly trained workforce of engaged employees who are motivated to provide the highest level of customer service.

We strive to provide prompt, courteous, and professional human resources to the mayor and council, department supervisors, public, and employees.

2026 Holiday Schedule

City Administrative Offices are Closed: New Year's Day, Martin Luther King Jr. Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day, Day After Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, and Christmas Day.

The 2026 Open Enrollment window is now open through December 1, 2025. Every full-time employee must log in and complete their elections, regardless of if you are making changes or waiving.
