Development Team meetings serve as an informal vetting session in advance of the formal application process. Potential business operators, developers, and land use applicants seeking Council approval are strongly encouraged to join staff from all development-related departments including Zoning, Engineering, Fire, Licensing, Natural Gas, Planning, Public Works, Water & Sewer, and Code Enforcement to learn how to make your project successful—the first time around.  

Development Team meetings are designed to give the applicant a complete understanding of the vision and regulations of the City of Winder and to give our team a complete understanding of your project. We use this time to ensure understanding, address any problems or hurdles that may arise during the process, identify all materials and documents that will be needed, anticipate project requirements, and answer any questions that you may have.
