The City of Winder’s third annual Eggstravaganza will take place March 28 at Jug Tavern Park.

The event includes egg hunts featuring more than 17,000 eggs, local vendors, food trucks, a DJ, and free photos with the Easter Bunny from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

New this year, a bubble show at 10:15 a.m. will kick off the morning ahead of the egg hunts.

Egg hunts will be divided by age to keep things safe and organized:
• 11 a.m. – Ages 0–3 and children with special needs
• 11:30 a.m. – Ages 4–12 (For safety and fairness, no one over age 12 will be permitted on the field during this hunt.)

The Winder Public Library will host story time during the event. Additional activities include Easter crafts and other family-friendly programming throughout the morning.

Food trucks and vendors will be on site with options for snacks and lunch, and attendees are encouraged to stay and enjoy the park after the egg hunts.

“This event has grown every year, and we’re excited to make it even better for families,” said Staci Waters, Winder’s event coordinator. “From the bubble show to the egg hunts and everything in between, there’s something for everyone to enjoy.”
