On Friday, Oct.  24, from 5-9 p.m., downtown Winder will transform into a family-friendly circus celebration filled with music, entertainment, and Halloween activities for all ages.

Start the night with trick-or-treating from 5-7 p.m., then enjoy music from three DJs, a variety of food trucks, and pay-to-play inflatables throughout the evening. At 7:30 p.m., the main stage will feature a live show with acrobalance, juggling, and fire tricks. Guests can also visit Creepy Crawly Curiosities, an educational animal experience featuring amphibians, reptiles, arachnids, and insects.

Costumes are encouraged, and those ready to show off their Halloween best can enter the costume contest at 8 p.m. on the Jug Tavern Stage. Registration will be available at the City of Winder tent from 5:00-7:30 p.m., or until spots are full.

“With more than 56,000 pieces of candy to give out, I think it’s safe to say we’re ready for trick-or-treaters,” said Talore Ruedt, Director of Events for the City of Winder. “Spooktacular has always been about creating a fun, safe space for families to enjoy Halloween together, and this year’s circus theme makes it even more exciting.”

Spooktacular: Winder’s Three Ring Circus is presented by Northeast Georgia Medical Center and sponsored by Akins, Keck & Wood, and The Yummy Sweets.
