The City of Winder is accepting applications for the position of a Utility Worker I in the Utility Department.
This position will work as part of a Utility Construction Crew that is responsible for installing new water and natural gas infrastructure, as well as the standard repair and maintenance of pipes, valves, fire hydrants, meters, regulators, etc.
Applicants must be able to lift a minimum of 65lbs. Able to work evenings, weekends and holidays, standby/ on call, and overtime when necessary. Applicants must be at least 21 years of age, have a valid Georgia Driver's License, high school diploma or GED, and able to pass a drug test and physical. Applicants must also be willing to submit to a background check.
