NOTICE OF PROPERTY TAX INCREASE:
 
The City of Winder, Georgia has tentatively adopted a millage rate which will require an increase in property taxes by 2.73 percent.  
 
All concerned citizens are invited to the public hearing on this tax increase to be held at the Winder Council Chambers of the Community Center located at 113 East Athens  Street, Winder, GA 30680 on June 10, 2025 at 9:00am.  
 
Times and places of additional public hearings on this tax increase are at the Winder Council Chambers of Community Center on June 10, 2025 at 6:00pm, and June 26, 2025 at 6:00pm.  
 
This tentative increase will result in a millage rate of 4.963 mills, an increase of 0.132 mills over the rollback rate.  Without this tentative tax increase, the millage rate will be no more than 4.831 mills.  The proposed tax increase for a home with a fair market value of $300,000 is approximately $15.84 and tax increase for a non-homestead property with a fair market value of $325,000 is approximately $17.16.

The City of Winder will set the millage rate at the Winder Council Chambers of the Community Center located at 113 East Athens Street, Winder, GA 30680 on June 26, 2025 at 6:30pm.
