The City, by virtue of its charter, has a Mayor-Council form of government with an appointed City Administrator. The Mayor and two Councilmembers are elected at large, and four Councilmembers are elected by specific wards. All elections are non-partisan. The Mayor and Council serve four-year staggered terms.
