Fleet Maintenance Mission Statement
The mission of The City of Winder Fleet Maintenance is to deliver a superior level of vehicle and equipment related services to our employees with our on the spot repairs and "preventive maintenance".
We strive to maintain an atmosphere of professionalism, intergrity and concern for our employees. Our Fleet Maintenance departments main goal is to maintain our Citys fleet on the job with keeping our down time (time vehicle spends in shop) to a minimum. By doing so we keep a good preventive maintenance program in place, we make minor repairs before they turn into large and costly ones.
The City of Winders vehicles and equipment are on the road and operating because of the efforts of the Fleet Maintenance Department. These guys are in charge of maintaining 300 vehicles and equipment to insure operational worthiness.
