The City of Winder Mayor is, by virtue of his office, a member of both authorities. The City of Winder's appointee to the Joint Development Authority is David Smith. Members of the Joint Development Authority serve terms of office of 4 years.
Authority transactions are typically coordinated through the Barrow County Chamber of Commerce. The Chamber can be reached by phone at (770) 867-9444.
