The City of Winder Solid Waste Division provides curbside garbage collection for all residents of the City. If you do not have a curbside garbage cart, please contact the division at (770) 867-2780.

Residential Carts:	$14.00 per month for 1 cart
	$10.00 per month for each additional cart
Commercial Carts:	$15.00 per month for 1 cart

Commercial Dumpsters:	Monthly charges based on the size of dumpster and frequency of collection

Non-recyclable, non-hazardous household waste.  Place waste in bags for additional litter and odor control, then place in your garbage cart.

Except for certain Certified residents, only curbside garbage and recycling service in available. Before 6:30 AM on your collection day, roll your garbage carts and place your recycle bins to within three feet of the curb for collection. For safety, please roll your can back to an area away from the streets and out of view to the public as soon as possible after collection has occured. If a steep ditch runs next to the road in front of your home, place the can behind the ditch near your driveway. See the pickup schedule to determine the day your trash is picked up during the week.

Backdoor garbage and recycling service is made available to our customers who are physically unable to roll a garbage cart to the curb and live in a single-family home. To determine if you qualify, please call (770) 867-2780 to go through the City's certification process.
