Recycleables
The City of Winder contracts recycling collection to Robertson Sanitation. If you have questions about your recycling program or how to prepare your materials, please call the City of Winder at 770-867-2780.
If you are a resident of the City of Winder, you should have a recycling bin in addition to your garbage collection cart. If for some reason your home doesn't have one, simply call us at 770-867-2780 and we'll have one delivered to you. Rinse and crush recyclables as far as possible, all containers. Flatten or cut boxes to fit.
Pickup Information Place the Recycling Bin at the curb by 6:30 AM on your collection day to let pickup crews know your cart is ready for collection. Please leave your cart at least three feet away from obstacles.
What CAN be recycled:Empty and rinse all glass, cans, and plastic containers must be washed out to avoid contamination. You can leave labels. Remove lids - lids go in the garbage.

| Paper: | Newspapers (remove any plastic wrapping) Magazines (remove any plastic wrapping) |
| Plastic: | Number 1 & 2 Plastic beverage bottles (milk jugs, soda bottles, juice jugs, and water jugs); remove and discard lids. |
| Cardboard: | Boxes must be broken down or cut to no larger than 2 foot squares. |
