City of Winder Municipal Court is held in the John O. Mobley Public Safety Building, located at 94 North Broad Street in Winder. Court dates are held on Monday nights. For more information, contact Winder City Hall via email at cityhall@cityofwinder.com or by phone at (770) 867-3106.

If you are charged with No Proof of Insurance and you were insured on the date of the citation, you must bring proof of insurance to Court with you on your scheduled Court date and present it to the City Solicitor. If you were not insured on the date of the citation, you must come to Court.
Paying a Fine Before your Court Date
If you receive a citation that does not require a court appearance and you wish to pay the fine instead of going to Court, you may do so at City Hall at 45 East Athens Street in Winder, Monday through Friday, 7:30 am - 5:30 pm or before 2:00 pm on the court date.

If you wish to plead not guilty to a citation, you must come to court on your court date. Your trial will be held on that date. Be sure to have all of your witnesses and evidence with you at that time. If you want a jury trial, your case will be transferred from the Municipal Court to the Superior Court. When you request a jury trial, you will be notified of your new court date by the Superior Court.
Failure to Appear for Court
Failure to appear for court or to pay our fine by your court date will result in your driver's license being suspended and a bench warrant being issued for your arrest. If you pay the fine before the warrant is issued, there is an additional $100.00 Failure to Appear fee. Once the warrant has been issued, there is an additional $100.00 Warrant Fee.
