Graduates of the Winder Police Department Citizen Police Academn are eligible to join the Citizen Police Academy Alumni Association.
The Alumni members become a permanant part of the Winder Police Department family. The Alumni become involved in many aspects of the Police department; for example, they assist the department in crime prevention, charity fundraisers and community services development. They enjoy a status that allows them to do volunteer work for the department, maintain the Ride-A-Long program, etc.
Alumni are also eligible for continuing education through Advanced Courses offered through the Citizen Police Academy:
